Nuning Yanti Damayanti, born in Cianjur, October 12, 1964. Doctor Science of Art, alumni of the Faculty of Art and Design, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB). In 1988-1990 got a scholarship from Goethe Institute and HBK Braunschweig to deepen course and education in field of art especially printmaking in Germany. Then in 1990 began a career as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Art and Design ITB.

In 1993, accepted as a civil government lecturer and at the same time was again granted the opportunity to Germany, got the undergraduate program, scholarship from the Deutche Auslandische Austausch Dienst (DAAD) Germany.

In 1996 back to Indonesia and continue to serve in FSRD ITB until now. 1997-2016 has held various structural positions in the Faculty, started as a Head of Laboratory, as a Secretary of the Department, as a Master Program Study Manager, as a Vice Dean and until now is still faculty represents of ITB. In addition to teaching in the faculty also actively participate in art exhibitions, research in field of Arts, Culture and Art Indonesian tradition. and also community service activities. Attending in national and international conferences, to publish Indonesian Art and Culture in overseas (Europe, America, Australia and Asia countries).

Writing a scientific article about Art Tradition, History of Culture and Art Education, some publishes in monograph book and some in national and international Journals publishes.

Activities in addition as a housewife has hobbies traveling and visiting various cultural in another countries. Another hobbies are making artwork, writing poetry, that published are elected in mass media and in several books Antologie of Indonesia Women Poet Artist
