Graduated MFA at Faculty of Visual Art and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Natas owns and manages Kupu Ceramik Studio, where he produced tableware, functional and interior ceramic products. Natas penchant to geometrical and architectural form has granted him an artistic signature which made his artworks easily identifiable to him. He has participated in many exhibitions at home and abroad, some of the recent ones are: Indonesia Design and Craft Biennale, National Gallery of Indonesia, Jakarta’ The Exhibition of Indonesia Creative Product Week 2013, Rasuna Epicentrum Kuningan, Jakarta; Fourth ASNA Clay Triennial, Karachi, Pakistan; and “Sail Komodo 2013”, Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Kupang East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Natas was one of the artist-in-residence participants during Jatiwangi Artist in Residence Festival 2010, in Majalengka, West Java, and has had a solo show in 2012, titled “Landscape #2”, S.14 Gallery, Bandung, Indonesia.Jakarta Contemporary Ceramics Biennale 1st (2009), 3rd (2014)
