“You’ve got one notification” is an exhibition focusing on “books” as its main medium. The purpose of this event is to encourage Artist to explore and extend new potential methods in Art making, and to get their work noticed when it comes in a printed matter. We would like to spread our belief in ‘Artist books’ as a new form of medium in Art.
As we spoke, Artist’s book exhibition idea emerged as ‘selfish capitalism’ ideals that had spread across the globe. Many prominent Artist has developing their own Artist book, and we believe that through books as its medium, Artist could have their own personal ‘space’ to tell anything- subversive notions, artistic strategy, idiotic satire, witty-full comedy, deluding stories, scribble and scratches, even ‘nothingness’- if they like to. In this Artist book exhibition, we hope our audience could engage and creates an interactive energy and positive feedback, regarding of this well-established form of Art making.
