𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶 : A Solo Exhibition by Ariadne Maraya
In the Permadani Terpatri series, Maraya intends to break the system on how to achieve the ideal image of womanhood. Its restrictive and dull nature are being challenged using piercing as a means of expression. The narratives that have been ingrained in society, are being rewoven by Maraya as women are encouraged to liberate themselves from mere stigmatization. With this offering, Permadani Terpatri invites the public to reflect on the identity and labels given to those who choose to appear as they are, as well as affirming various forms of self-expression.
