(in)Tension: Visualization–Visuality
The marvel of technology in image-making, on the one hand, and the subjectivity in sensing and giving meaning to images, on the other, has surfaced tension for the artists in this exhibition. They realized that there's something reduced within that technological sophistication; especially the subjective aspects of craftsmanship, presence, moment, feeling, and emotion. These tensions emerge subtly, as they tend to be reflective attitudes rather than rejection.
